I believe I am using the same config file, but the problem is I had the same problem with WF 4.0 and now with WF 5.0. I tried to attach a file of a part that does it. I don't have trouble with every iges or step, just certain ones and this is one of them. So feel free to play with it and let...
I tried doing the 1:1 unit change and that didn't solve it either. It doesn't have any features in the model tree because it is only when importing an iges or step file that I have this problem. I will look into the visibility settings. I haven't found a work around yet.
Hello,
When I try to change the units (i.e. the default units are mm and I want to change it to inches) on an imported iges, or step file, the model disappears. I tried redrawing/regenerating and nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Yeah, you are right. I found out that you can click the dimension directly. Sometimes it takes a few clicks, but once the dimension turned red that meant that I had the actual dimension selected and not the note. From there I could just change the dimension type. Thanks again!
I have a drawing view where I am calling out hole locations using basic X and Y dimensions in a table using the dimension references (ie. &d192). My problem is that some of the dimensions show up with limits dimensions and others show up just fine. I can't turn off the display for all...
If I do the procedure that you described to attach the datum to a dimension I can get the datum symbol to appear just like you said. However, if I try to use the other datum symbol (the filled in triangle as per ASME 14.5-2009) it no longer appears. When I click on the other symbol, a message...
I am fairly new to Pro/E and I am having trouble figuring out the process for getting reference datums to display in my drawings. I have defined two datums in my model. A datum plane "A" on one end of a cylindrical part and a datum axis "B" through the centerline of the cylinder. The datum...

oh, I guess that wasn't such a big deal. Maybe if I had spent some more time playing around with it, I would have figured it out. Thanks for responding. I appreciate it.
If I create a countersunk hole using the Hole Tool in the assembly level, (it actually goes through two different parts) how can I get it to link back to the part files so that it will appear in the drawings? Is this even possible? Maybe I am trying to make life too easy. I know I could make...
