I am looking for a value that i can use to evaluate the size and the cost of the heat exchanger. I have not reached the level of the detail design yet. all i need at the moment is a typical value so that i can use to evaluate the economics and determine if it is worth going for the project...
can some one help me with a typical value for the overall heat transfer coefficient for Therminoil 72 or 66 when used to collect heat from hot flue gas in a steel heat exchanger
