Distributed linear current load on an infinitesimal surface

Hi, i'm actually working on the analysis of a two pole synchronous generator using ANSYS Mechanical/APDL. The entire model is represented. In my model, the stator is slotless. I want to replace the slots by an infinitesimal conducting sheet at the inner surface of the stator (it could the inner...

ANSYS - Distributed linear current load on an infinitesimal surface

Hi, i'm actually working on the analysis of a two pole synchronous generator using ANSYS Mechanical/APDL. There is neither symmetry nor periodic conditions. In my model, the stator is slotless. I want to replace the slots by an infinitesimal conducting sheet at the inner surface of the stator...

    2D Geometry from Pro/E to ANSYS/EMAG

It works ! in fact, when you create a sketch in Pro/e you have to transform it into a surface by the use of the fonction "Style". then you define the contour of the surface you want to create, and you save it in IGES format or PART format. Both works good. thank you for your help.

    2D Geometry from Pro/E to ANSYS/EMAG

first of all, sorry for my english. I want to simulate a synchronous generator as 2D model. I would like to export a 2D geometry from Pro/E to ANSYS Multiphysics. the way i do it is that a create a new part file, then i do a sketch. when i create the sketch in Pro/e, i save it in IGES format...

finite elements analysis of magnetic field

Hi, i'm new in this forum. I need a good information ressource about finite elements analysis of magnetic field in synchronous generators. Any proposition is welcome. Thanks PS : sorry for my english.
