CSA for Cable on Motor with VSD

Sorry for the confusion. It is based on UK standards so CSA stands for cross sectional area. The cable run is approx 50mts from the VSD to the motor and the VSD located adjacent to the MCC.

    Calculate Energy efficiency

Thanks gruntguru Thats exactly the type of thing I'm looking for but I'm afraid my ignorance in terminology is still causing a problem. Boiler may be the wrong description, although that's what the manufacturers call them, as I am not sure does it produce steam or just hot water. The boilers in...

    60Hz Supply to a 60Hz Machine through a 50Hz traffo

I have a set up which means I have a 230V 60Hz supply. The machine is 110V 60Hz. Can I use a 50HZ transformer to step down the voltage? In other words if I put 60Hz into a traffo designed for 50Hz will I still get 60Hz out and will there be any side effects?

    Understanding Results from Meter

Hi The figures I have quoted are what you are left with after you take the reading at the start of the first 15 minute period away from the reading at the end of the first 15 minute period. If you divide these by the time period in hours (i.e. 0.25)then they still don't balance.
