Sounds like a reverse action, the most common question is how to import points for an airfoil.. :-)
why do you want to export the points ? for what use ?
Can you not export the curves or the surfaces , finite elements etc , in some format ?

I would be very careful hacking this type of data in Teamcenter ... NX and Teamcenter are pretty tightly connected and if these connections fail, it can be extremely difficult to correct it. I have a particular part, ( a flat plate with 5 holes..) which is used in very many assemblies, and...
It should just be a warning that the units does not match and "click yes to proceed". Annotating a metric model in a imperial drawing will/should work 100%.

As Deters mentions above, you can if running NX under Teamcenter do a Visual Report and the colors will tell the status.
the same report can be done in Teamcenter if you have the viewer. the Interaction is simpler in NX than Teamcenter.
That same tool, the "HD3D" / Visual report can be used...
In this case , the "layer solution" is way faster and simpler than assemblies and arrangements.
Open the model file. View- move to layer- then select a body ( or multiple) at a time and move to a different layer. Save.
Open the drawing file, i assume you are using "master modeling" and the...
Yes, but it's slightly had to find the option, and to make it worse, it has moved in the NX Versions.
I am running NX1980/ 2000 there it is "Scene Preferences - Background - Type: Image file - then ...."

it was a while since i touched this application...
In the navigator, you have a node "Polygon geometry" , expand that , the bodies should be possible to hide / show from there.
Also, make sure that is is "split" and not "trim" you are using.

I think the manual entry option is restored in later releases.
I read some strange discussion about that it had been removed due to a customer request...
then the "next customer request" was "Restore!"

Check that the mouse settings are "middle click" for the middle button.
I have seen this behaviour a few times when people have installed gaming mouses plus the accompanying gaming mouse driver.
in one case the only solution we found was un-install that driver, then the default Microsoft mouse...
You will not get mirrored features. that is not possible.
You will get an associative mirror body. Edit the original and the mirror updates.

I started working for "McDonnel Douglas Information Systems", in June 1990.
( Which is "one name" in the long line of "company names" that has owned and developed Unigraphics/ NX )
My first Unigraphics version was V7, released 1989. and -

Can you explain in detail what it is that you want to do ?
Detail prints means ? Sending drawing-s to a printer ? Export Pdf's ?

Imported model ?
If it is non parametric ( = imported) try the File -Export- Heal geometry.
it creates a new partfile with cleaned bodies, removed parameters.
If it is parametric , try the Optimize Face under direct modeling.

Why the Unite ?
As Cowski mentions, Use the "Create new Component, select all bodies for the fence, tick the delete originals and you have moved all these bodies to a new file.
As you have noticed , NX does not care if "1 partfile" contains 1 single solid body or multiple. Other systems might...

sorry i think i misunderstood the usage here. My previous post was how to present "component sizes" as information in the top assembly. and after reading your question again ...
It is not really clear what the action should be.
If i understand this correctly ( second reading):
You have an...
