    I would like to be able to export or save as from Solidworks in one of the following formats; .kzx, .xml, .3ds, .obj, .sia. Also, and here's where it gets tricky, I'm looking for a free add-in. Software that converts something Solidworks can save as to one of those formats would also be nice...

    Trying to re-orient a part... stumped.

    This should be a FAQ I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I saw a lot of threads where people were asking how to change the triad or swap planes (for instance make the top plane the front plane) ..and there wasn't an easy answer. This was definitely the solution I was searching...
