Thanks all very much. I hadn't had time to reply, let alone to investigate.
Bradshsi: I hope not to need to get you more involved, but that's very kind of you. If it becomes really necessary I will ask again.
Regards
Thank you very much, Dubmac; What you say sounds very professional. I'll just need some time to figure it all out. I will surely come with more questions.
Regards.
Hello, and thanks for replying so soon:
Yes, I know I have enough data to deduce efficiency, but it's all about government procedures and fancy looking documentation.
In case I don't get I will do that way, but I know if I can get the curves it will fit more with their tastes.
Regards.
Hello, all again:
I have just opened a new thread regarding another issue with pumps, so I’ll take the opportunity to update about this one I myself opened about a RITZ mod. 49.200 centrifugal 11-stages pump, also thanking the interest you showed about it.
Actually I haven’t got as deep as all...
Hello, all:
I am an industrial engineer that has posted before a couple of times in this forum with very kind and good responses from many of you, so first of all thank you.
Now I am involved in a project in order to request a government subvention for replacing old pumps by new and more...
Hello all:
After some time of being involved in other things, finally managed to speak with a fellow who doesn't work now at the company, but was at charge, when the pump was first installed and failed.
He told me that the vibrations of the machine were rather normal, but after the first...
Bradshsi, no vibrations measurements were made; only that when German technics repaired it didn't seem to exist abnormal vibrations but after the machine broke again.
I will try to collect all informations I can, but first I needed to be more familiar with this.
I don't know if I have said but...
Hi JJPellin:
Thanks again for your input.
About the axial balance line, I just didn't see that was the connection with the balance chamber. I thought it could be some kind of regulator, but I didn't even understand.
And about my doubt, I figured out that a possible cause of the final failure...
Hello all:
First, thanks for your dedication in your replies; I’m truly glad to have met this forum.
And second, sorry for the delay, but I’ve been very busy, and for me it’s quite difficult to “process” your help. I am Spanish, new in this field, and I lack a lot of vocabulary. I have to...
Hi all:
Well, I opened a controversial thread, several weeks ago, about 2-pole vs 4-pole centrifugal pumps, regarding a purchase decision among 3 equipments, because the existing one had broken. In case you find it useful, here is the link...
Hi all again:
I'll need the weekend to read all the posts, unless it gets much crazier, (in the positive way).
However, I'll answer now the last easy question, for Dubmac: The KSB MULTITEC A-125/3 stage is about 27.000 €, the KSB MULTITEC A-125/4 stage is about 33.000 €, (different supplier)...
Thanks all because I am getting plenty of information, and most of all it seems to be a question of where the balance goes, as I see many good indications in both ways, so I think it's my turn to measure the weights properly.
I will reply and ask with more detail a little later when I have more...
Thanks very much to all for your soon answers:
Well, there seems to be a little controversy, but I guess the way to analyse the possibility of the 2 pole pump implies to be aware about the water quality, so I'll have to get deeper on that.
The fact is that 2 pole ones are widely offered and...
Hello all:
Regarding an installation I posted about in another thread of mine, (that's just a reference), I have collected 3 different offers for it.
The installation consists in an elevation from a deposit 300 mts. (985 ft.) high and 300 m3/h. (1320 us gallons/m)
Manometric height estimated...
Thanks to all again:
I have been busy, so I only been able to read, but not to answer.
Dubmcac: The well deep (120 mts.) seems too much for an external vertical pump, from what I have seen.
Pumpsonly and Kiwimace: Pleuger I hadn't checked, but I know they are prestige, so I will try. Grundfos...
Hi Dubmac:
Your answer is very welcome, as it fits my doubts quite well.
Curious about not knowing RITZ, as I thought they were a prestige maker, but I am very new here.
At least I've seen they have the technology to offer quite high performance submersible pumps, as you can see here...
Google? http://www.ritz-pumpen.de/en/content_international/content_international.php
Perhaps I wasn't too precise.
I meant that if could find some place where I could see prices of RITZ pumps, although it could be approximate.
On the other hand, some information about RITZ I could find...
Hello:
Thanks for your help.
For several reasons I am interested on RITZ pumps, but it seems they don't want to publish too much information.
Anyone knows any way to get some information, although it's approximate?
Regards and thank you again
