I have been looking into FM Synthesizers, and wonder what is the difference from a FM Synthesizer and a regular VCO where the pitch is modulated by the LFO at very high frequency? I tried this on my analog synthesizer, and the result is somewhat similiar at max LFO frequency. If I could have a...
If we consider the bulk modulus/compressibility of seawater to the elastic modulus of many solids, it is alot smaller. My theory is then that if the sea is deep enough, an sinking object would reach neutral buoyancy an stop sinking before it reaches the bottom. Is there any real world examples...
@JohnRBaker im using NX 9.5
@Toost yse I do exit the sketch.
I know that there are workarounds for the problem I have, such as selecting "curve" in the selection filter. But in 96 percent of the cases that is what you want to while revolving etc. So why not set that as a standard anyway...
Thank you, but it is not possible to assign the dimensional sign or the line behind it. When i put the pointer to the line I want to sign, the dimensional line enlightens instead of the sketch one, however clicking on it does nothing..
Hi
So i make this sketch and select the lines, I do use the select single line cause i only want to revolve certain parts of the sketch.
However the selection filter is set to none by standard. That means even the lines of the dimensional sign is possible to select, and that prevents me from...
Thank you for supporting the idea.
I got many books like 1800 Mechanical movements, 507 Mechanical Movements and so on. Catalogs like RS Components and the Mc-MasterCarr (thank you Compositepro) are nice too. However, I actually fonund some inspirational stuff/pictures on Pinterest, maybe...
Hi! I have been into contruction of mechanical end electrical systems for a while. Especially when I was participating in Formula SAE, I noticed that I could be more creative designing in the workshop than on the CAD. Reason was that in the workshop we had alot of different stuff that I could...
MacGyver2000 - you are right, Ive should have said most efficient. :)
itsmoked - Makes sense to me! I remember those 400Hz transformers we had at work was pretty small compared to their rating. They were used transmitting power to underwater ROV's. Guess they would saturate quickly at lower...
Something I have wondered on for a while:
Lets say you have a big transformer that will be used on both 50 and 60 Hz. i.e. a land-supply transformer on a ship.
When you make the transformer you would select the optimum transformer frequency to be somewhere in between. At first, one would think...
I was looking for a common database where I can look for the most used materials, (steel, alu, copper).
Always when I look for any kind of property for a material I need to find a new source.
EdStainless reply was helpful anyways, I also found "http://www.matweb.com" by googling in a way that...
Hi
Anyone know of any good extensive, up to date and "scientific approved" material properties list on the web? One that would be okay to refer to in a Master thesis.
I am looking for a list with many properties for each material. Heat capacity, density, electrical resistance, elastic modulus...
Hi.
I have a clue regarding selecting lines in ugs nx 7.5
As you can see in the picture, I want to select ony a part of a line. I have tried almost all the selection filter combinations, but no success.
Anyone have a clue?
Regards, Ivar.
