The reason I am moving it to the vault than replacing the parts is because there are a lot of common components & hardware that is already in the vault that I am using to replace the old parts with. I am essentially copying the assemblies and sub-components from explorer to the vault...
Yea, all the default settings are pointing to the Part Number. I don't really want to manually edit all of the incorrect part numbers because this could cause troubles down the road with changes. I'm beginning to think this is a PDM issue as I don't have this issue outside the vault.
