Hello.
I need push connect fittings for 1/4 od air lines (to 1/8 npt) on a system that has 250 PSI cylinders that are good from -20 F to 200 F.
The cylinder maker (Automation Direct) has fittings that are fine on pressure and have a low temp limit of 32 F.
Cylinder seals are Buna-N and the stainless steel fittings mentioned above are Viton o-ring.
I've been looking at DOT air brake fittings to try and find appropriate fittings.
1. Anyone know a source for push connect fittings that can handle 250 psi in -20 F to 200 F?
2. Many folks offer "DOT approved" parts but don't mention pressure and temp ratings. I've seen specs mentioned in connection with DOT (such as SAE J2493-3 and SAE J1131 )
and I'm hoping to glean these two numbers (pressure and temp) without paying 87$ for the specs.
In other words, is it well known what temp range and pressure DOT approval (for air brake systems say) confers?
Thanks
