1-d mesh with workbench

Hi,

Is it possible to create 1-d mesh in Workbench ? I try to make a line and assign cross section in design modeler. But, when I generate my mesh, it create a 3d mesh.

Sim,

Are you sure that it has 3D meshed the line, or is it just displaying it that way? Go to:

View > Thick Shells and Beams

and turn that off. That should show you just a line.
