Hello Guys,

Who knows how to understand the EN 13480-5 standard for non-destructive testing?
is this standard saying that research should also be used on supports? that is,
the support should also be examined, for example, PT or MT.
Please find attachment.Who will help?

I know EN 13480-5. I will look into it later when I have more time, but I think that an annex in EN 13480-3 details the requirements for pipe supports, where these requirements are dependent on the PED categorie of the line in question. It may specify NDE. EN 13480-5 doesnt specify NDE on pipe support I believe.

Refer to chapter 13 of EN 13480-3 and normative annex N. Youll find your answer in there.

Thanks XL83NL,

I reading and reading this standard and in my opinion,
NDT tests I must also do for welds for supports.
But I'm still wondering
is the number of these tests for supports the same for as for pipelines?
