Hi

Does any one have the catalogs for steel decks in Canada between 1975 and 1980?

Thanks

Hello

My apologies

I posted a reply a couple of days ago and somehow it did not submit

I am looking for catalogs of manufacturers of steel decks widely used in Canada, especially Western Canada between 1975 and 1980

Thank you

There's more than one. you're going to need to be more specific. Are you trying to determine the type of existing deck you've got?

Post a picture and one of the bright gents here will probably recognize it.

Looks like present day Canam P-3615. Measure the width of flutes, deck thickness and compare. For P-3615, the spacing of flutes is 6". Bottom flat is 1.5" with 4.5" clear between. Sides slope 1/2" each side, so the top flat is 3.5".

There were several suppliers of steel deck in the time period you mention. Dimensions varied slightly but not enough to make a huge difference. I suspect you are safe to assume the Canam P-3615.

If you want more detailed information, contact the Canadian Sheet Steel Building Institute at
BA

Vicwest is another popular supplier from that era.

Thanks Everyone for all your assistance
