I Everyone.

I'm starting a demo of 3d Experience. It looks a complete new software, but the plm it's the really new thing for me. I was used to work with files in windows environment, and now I need to create and manage colaborative spaces. Catia itself it's a really new fresh look. Really nice apps located in the SMWX package. A lot of mouse clicks reduced. it's nice.

But I will have a lot headaches to get used to it.

Can I make a few folders inside colaborative spaces?

All goes to the same "folder" (colaborative space), the way to manage it i think is through "plm way"...
I'm Catia V5 User and the company buy one "3dexperince" license, so and also trying to adapt...
I'm not satisfied with what I find at all.

Sure, you can create folder and subfolder in a Collab Space.

For 18x:
You have a specific Collab Space active. Now in the client create new content (+ button at the top right) and create an Engineering Folder. The you can go into the app 'Enovia Bookmark' and create additional subfolder in the existing Engineering Folder.

Ok, i think to create them in the "dasboard pannel" but works in the "3d app"...
Question: can i select the folder to work on it or the parts after save always go to "coll. space" active (outside folders) ?

I'm not a specialist with that, but I think you work in the Collab Space first. So saving a new object just places it in the Collab Space. Afterwards you can move it into a folder via drag&drop in the Bookmark app.

This is a big change compared to V5. Our first months will be really though... There is an app for everything, but looking for the app, we don't know exactly what it does.
Regarding the CAD package, it's one of the bests offers when we compare value for money. When I receive the quotation, I was skeptic, but after starting my trial, i got ecstatic with all it brings. After this, I can say that CATIA is not the most expensive software.

But it will be so hard to get used in manage everything in PLM...
