2 lb. Natural Gas Calculation 1

I am trying to find a calculation either a spreadsheet or the formula to calculate 2 lb. gas pressure loss for pipe sizes and lengths. I have found two but both are different.

Thanks for the information, but I believe I am looking for the pressure loss formula. I am looking for either the constants for 6" W.C. up to 5 lb. gas or a constant that will allow some flexiblity (not sure about the last one). I am looking to place the formula into a spreadsheet so it will spit out a pressure loss for a given length of pipe and at a specific pressure such as 14" W.C. or 1 lb. gas.

I used a program developed by Formedia for low pressure gas pipe sizing. I checked the output by comparing it to the UPC and IFGC tables. The program’s output matched the code tables to my satisfaction. The formula and constants referenced in the program documentation are Codes B149.1-M91 and B149.1-00 for natural gas and B149.2-M91 for propane.

As I recall, the program was very inexpensive, and as such, it may not be worth your time to re-invent the wheel.

What is the Formedia website so I can checkout the information there. I want to calculate 2 lb. gas pressure losses and be able to choose any gas pressure and have it use the correct constant to use.
