Can a 200 amp distribution panel be located in a boiler room? The room will not get hotter than max 120-deg F.
thanks,

1. Electrical panel requires a dedicated space including space above it. See NEC 110.26.

2. Ambient temp of 120 deg F would require de-rating of all the breakers in the panelboard and panel bus rating. Panelboards built to UL and NEMA standards are rated for a maximum ambient of 40 deg C, which is 104 deg F.
