2006 BOM TEXT JUSTIFICATION

When I insert a BOM into a new 2006 dwg, I have noticed that the text we have left justified in the cell is slammed right next to the cell border line ( no "cell padding"). It does not look very good and the BOM can be hard to read. I compared it to my 2005 BOM and 2005 seems to put a space between the cell border and the text. I have searched high & low for an option or setting that I can modifiy to do this. Has anyone else run into this. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have noticed the same problem. No solution yet, but I'll let you know if I find one.

Are you using the standard BOM, or Excel-based BOM?

If you are using the standard BOm, try clicking the very top-left of your table. Then in the PropertyManager tree, click on Table Format at the bottom. In there you can choose to center-justify the text.

Not all that helpful if you need to left-justify it, but it could help you some.

Pick top of column > Cell Properties > Cell Padding. The problem I have is that after I change the padding and save it as a template, I can't re-use it. If I use the new BOM, the padding reverts to .0012in.
