Folks,

I am having a heck of a time managing colors of parts, faces, features, bodies, etc, etc, etc. Now throw Realview Graphics into the mix and I'm not sure which end is up! I know there are macros and threads out there that allow you to reset colors etc for older revisions of Solidworks. Is there anything available for 2008 that will reset everything so I can start clean again??

Thanks in advance

Do the macros you have not work for SW08?
Are you getting an error message when trying to run them?
Have you set the macro reference libraries for SW08?

Sueflow - Thanks for the input. The Matt Lombard color macros appear to do something although I'm not sure its doing what I'm expecting. The other macros at his site work very well.

I keep getting this nagging feeling that because I am running 2008 on a 64bit machine, there are issues that just don't show up on 32bit processors.

CorBlimeyLimey - thank you for the presentation link. It's shedding some light on things. As I mentioned above, the macros do work in 2008.

Does anyone have product molded in plastic that will be in many different colors for different OEMs? Do I change the OEM color at the part level, the sub assembly level, or the top level assembly. I am using advanced options - configuration specific colors. Is this the best way? I can change one configuration to match a specific color, but then another already defined color on another config changes! Not what I want!
