Ok, I'm having issues with Inventor 2008 IDW views. For some reason, if I make a change to a Weldment while the IDW is open, it will sometimes make one (or more) views show up as COMPLETELY hidden. I've checked the BOM and everything is set to normal, not reference. No matter what I do, it won't show up correctly after it happens.

I've never had this issue with any previous versions of Inventor (and I've used them all), but I've just started using Weldment IAM's. Is there something I should know???

(The attached drawing has the ISO view completely hidden. WTF???)

What are your system specs? Video Card and drivers?

I have had a similar instance happen to me. When a weldment view is updated, the assembly changes orientation and looks as if all the materials involved have been changed to "weld." Everything surface looks like a bead of weld. I know for a fact that it doesn't have anything to do with the video card, drivers, or memory. Unfortunately, I don't know what it has to do with.

The only fix that I have found is to update the original view the ISO was taken from.

Yeah, that's what I've seen as well. Whatever the issue is, the (2) service packs haven't corrected the problem and there aren't any Hotfixes yet either. BIG headache...
