Can anyone recommend pipe and pump software.
Currently when I model systems for water and slurry I use the company excel templates to add up all the friction losses and it spits out a head loss then I size the pump but this is not good enough for large complex systems.
I'm looking for software that can model in 3d (to take care of the changing Z) and input custom components like checks and filters that have experimental values.
Systems would be about 50-400 OD pipe poly or steel running 3-10km pumping water and slurry, 3 stage pumping etc, different fluid properties.
It would also need to pick up thrust block requirements or at least tell me the reaction forces.
Finally design reports for submission to clients.
Is there anything that anyone can recommend?
PS I'm in Australia so if the software also has design reports that give out reports to Australian standards or any standards. That would be great.
Thanks in advance
