Does anyone here want to share his thoughts or experiences of using a FR3 Less-flammable fluid on Large capacity/rated Power Transformers?
(We have existing TR installations at Louisiana site with FR3 oils but Transformer capacities are less than 50 MVA's).

We would like purchase a Transformer and confirm whether rating can use FR3;
Spec of Power Transformer rated, 230-34.5kv 150 MVA ONAN/ONAF equipped with On-tank LTC?

Sharing experiences, expertise or any references would like to impart are highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

It is a higher cost, but must be handled in the same way. What do you expect to see to offset the higher cost?
That's as far as I have gone.

Yes, you can use FR-3 at that rating. In India, we have transformers with 315 MVA 420 kV rating and FR-3 filling. But what advantage are you expecting with such oils in such large ratings?
