working in NX9 drafting.
I would like to create an associated centerline between 2 holes shown in top view (see attachment).
The centerline needs to be equidistant between the 2 holes.
I have done a non associated work around creating a line in the member view between the 2 holes and change the font of the line. of course this is not associated to the model.
Any thoughts on how to create an associated centerline?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Click on MENU - INSERT - CENTER MARK. Make sure "Create multiple center marks" is unchecked. Just click on one hole and then the next hole and it should give what I believe you are looking for.

No that wasn't it. what I am looking for is to place the 2d centerline perpendicular to the 2 holes.

No Out of the box functionality available for this...
If you want this to be associative your best bet would be to make the view Active sketch view and sketch the Centerline...One reference line through the centers of the hole. Place the centerline perpendicular on the midpoint

Thank you Ron
Did all you mentioned in the member view that you mentioned except for the sketch part which I had considered.
