2D n 3D cylinder modeling. how to model a compound like brine.

i have been trying to model a cylinder using 2D modeling in ANSYS. The lenght of the cylinder is about 20mm, while the inner diameter is about 90mm. There is another compound inside this cylinder which is a compound like Barium sulphate or brine.
i have been able to do a 2D model of it, but not a 3D model. can you tell me some tips on doing this, and can u tell me some tips on how to model the compound as well. thank you.

What is the material of your cylinder? What kind of analysis? What kind load you got. You could model it as 3D model using shell element. If your are doing static stress, the compound could be ignored.

hi again.. thanks for replying to me. im doin some work on a quarter of a steel cylinder with calcium carbonate precipitate formed on the inner wall of the steel cylinder. i need to apply a 200micrometer diameter water spray on the precipitates, at about 10MPa. i have been able to modelt eh steel cylinder. but the precipitate, i havent been able to figure out what material model i can use in it, if i want to know the stresses and the deformations the precipitates will encounter because of the high pressure water spray. thank you.
