Hi All,

I am new here, I need a help and advice from you guys...
As a Purchaser I assigned to a project that needs some 3.2 certification.
No restriction if the materials from stockiest/trader or Mill/Manufacturer.

So we got some pipes from stock which is API 5L PSL2 in 3.1 certification. in order to comply to the client requirement we have to do the additional test.

My question is if the following testing below are enough or correct to do the upgradation of 3.2 certification.

*Tensile Test
*Hardness Test
*Charpy Test
*Chemical Composition
*HIC test

Furthermore, I would like to ask as well if MPI is included to perform for the pipe mentioned above..

Thanks in advance guys and keep safe

You cant upgrade a 3.1 to a 3.2. When you place your order, you have to tell the stockist or mill you need a 3.2; they can then only supply you with materials that either
- have already been made and come with a 3.2 certificate, or
- do a mill run and invite the notified body to make the material certificate 3.2.
Review EN 10204.
