316L VIM + VAR where to get? 2

Hi, I am new here so welcome everyone

I am looking for help to get 316L VIM+VAR in flat bars, this meterial is new for me and me current supliers do not know it, and even don't have any knowledge about it.

Can anyone give me a tip where to buy it?

Where in the world are you?
In the US there are a few sources, Cartech, Universal, maybe Electralloy.

depending on volume, Cartech can offer many versions of 316 with slightly different compositions and melting combinations. they can do arc-AOD, VIM, VIM+VAR, VIM+ESR, or even triple melting.

interestingly, VIM+ESR 316L is a bit clearer than VIM+VAR in terms of inclusion rate, which is preferrable for some medical applications.

I need about 2000 - 3000 punds for samples and later probably 15-20k pounds per month, You think 2-3k pounds is ok for Cartech to sell?

For years they tried to just use Cartech as a company name, I guess that they gave up.

No EU sources? I would think that Sandvik and a few others would be sources.
Remelted 316L in common medical devices.
Though we had a customer that wanted VIM+VAR and we could get AOD+ESR that was cleaner.
We actually used quite a bit of AOD+ESR in various SS grades for high fatigue applications in aerospace.
