About all you can do is inspect the cable. Look at the connection on each end. Look for any breaks or damage to the cable.

There are three parts to the system. Motor, Cable, and Servo Amplifier. The cable is the most common and easiest / least expensive to fix. Start there.

Apparently the encoder is faulty.
Fanuc get one for replacement.
This machine takes us crazy!
