Hey all. I have a question about graph resolutions, specifically the 3D that I am trying to deal with. I have a rather complex curvature graph that takes place in a very small variable range leading to a very blocky and segmented graph.
My input variables are from 1-7 and 1-4, and MathCAD with only accept those spans in a one stepped integer incrementation. So because I can only figure out how to make it accept 6 increments of input, it linearly connects each of those data points instead of running a calculation at 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. and forming a smoother graph. Can you tell mathcad to increase its resolutions of calculated points in the graph? We ended up scaling our input variables by 10 and dividing the instances of those variables by 10 in the equation to get it to calculate 60 points in lieu of only 6, but that messed up the plot's scale. Plus, that hardly seems like the right way of doing things. I hope there is something I am missing.
