I bring my work laptop with Space Explorer home and access the work network thru VPN (Cisco Anyconnect).
I am able to mount network drives, obtain a catia license, etc.
I cannot get the space explorer to work within Catia, when connected thru VPN (no device found).
If I am at work, or take a license offline the space explorer works fine.
When connected thru VPN the Space Explorer works fine with the 3dconnexion demos and UGNX 7.5.
The latest 3dware from 3dconnexion has been installed.
From what little I have found was that catia recognizes the USB connection as a network device and that the firewall blocks the connection.
I Have disabed the laptops firewall, no luck.
I.T. says that there are no restrictions on the VPN.
I have tried connecting to VPN with both wireless and wired network connections.
Tried this on 2 different computers with same results.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rick
