Thinking about a 5KV SHD-GC Cable with an integral shielded CAT6 cable built into the cable. Cable manufacture advised that they can supply this (special order). The pairs within the CAT 6 would be utilized for long distance Ethernet communications using Ruggedcom EoVDSL modems at each end. The total distance is about 1300meters. Acknowledging that VDSL requires only telephone grade cable, I'm wondering if someone could comment if the noise induced by the power carrying conductors over such a distance could be problematic with the cable as proposed. The application is mine shaft sinking, running / installing cables is very costly and time consuming. Comments please and thanks to everyone.

Frankly, I wouldn't even consider it. Throw a fiber buffer tube into the cable and use fiber rather than copper Ethernet. You'll be much better off in the long run.
