6061-T6 in contact with CF8M Corrosion Concerns

Our assembly has a 6061-T6 component attaching to a CF8M component. The 6061-T6 is anodized per MIL-A-8625, Type II. The connection would be exposed to air on one side and oil on the other. Should we assume there will be galvanic corrosion between the components?

As long as the air isn't wet there should be no issue. I have seen couplings of bronze and hard anodized aluminum exposed to salt spray and the aluminum did hold up very well. Any defects in the coating and it's fried.

As long as there is no moisture you are fine.
If it gets wet the Al is toast.

What is the min/max operating temperatures at the dissimilar metals contact points.

Inconel and aluminums have grossly different expansion/contractions coefficients... and service temperatures

RE: SAE AIR809 Metal Dimensional Change with Temperature

Run some calculations and see how closely the metals [in contact] are matched to each-other.
