Does anyone have access to 1956 vintage API-ASME stress values for plate identified as "A-301-B FB?" Of particular interest is the allowable stress at 975 deg. F.

I'm attempting to evaluate a pressure vessel of that era and material but my employer's technical library only goes back to the 1965 edition of ASME Sec. VIII.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

From the 1956 VIII, A301-B was a 1 Cr - 1/2 Mo material with a 60 ksi UTS. Allowable tensile stress was 11 ksi at 950 deg F and 7.5 ksi at 1000 deg F. Interpolation is allowed so at 975 the allowable would be 9.25 ksi.

Thanks jte! You slam-dunked it; the composition and tensil strength you cited are consistent with what I've found on some other documents. The 9.25 ksi allowable is exactly what I need.
