a long conveyer that use more motors instead one :for example instead one motor of 100 kw we can use 5 of 20 kw (a system that we call polymotor if i'm not rong)my question is if the motor is between the two ends of conveyer how can this motor trigger the conveyer.

I don't understand your question. We have used multiple motors connected to a single drive many times.

Suggestion: Look at the motors in between as the ones that help to move the conveyor belt with load. They are more or less load sharers. I would prefer linear motors for conveyors since they produce the linear motion directly rather than the rotary motion which is then converter to the linear motion with some inefficiencies involved.

o.k ,i'm not interesting in the linear ones ,if you have used multiple motors connected to a single drive so if this drive is a conveyor ,how the motors would looks ,precisly works, on the middle of conveyor for example how can they participate in drive .and can i see how this conveyor multiple motors looks .(on the internet firm that build such drives).
with regards

I don't see how a motor in the middle of the run could work. If it's on the top it's needs to be wrapped at least partially around a drum to drive the conveyor. If you do so then your going to have some trouble with the corn, gravel, coal or what ever your moving. You could put one in the middle of run on the bottom of the conveyor but there usually very little tension in return, your pulling empty belt not product.

I would think that if all the motors are identical and the gear boxs etc are identical then the normal slip characteristics of the motors would allow them to share load. If one motor tried to carry more of the load it's slip would increase, which would slow it down which now means one of the other motors when tend to pick up load. As long as the mechanical components are equal the motors should want to share the load.

to jbators:
please can you show me for example (by shematic figure if it is possible) one motor on the middle of conveyor how can it move(trigger)the belt.

Suggestion: Visit
Usually, a long conveyor or a conveyor with some angle somewhere, perhaps in the middle, lends itself for another motor propulsion. The clue is to have an adequate friction to contribute enough to the conveyor belt motion no matter where additonal propelling motors with rollers are located.
