My first post in this forum seeking some help. I am a casting manufacturer and I have a request for Clump castings weighing from 3 tons to 10 tons per piece.

I have in the past made ballast weights for fpso systems and a for cranes.

I shall be obliged if someone could direct me to DNV or BV standards for these castings. I am sorry, that I have no information about chain , or details of mooring lines.

I shall take the liberty of pasting a representative picture obtained from the internet.

Thanks for your time and looking forward to any assistance.

I'm afraid its not anything I know about, but I searched the DNVGL standards. I could find no references specific to clump weights but there is on mooring chains. Would any of these help?

OFFSHORE STANDARD

Offshore mooring chain

CLASS PROGRAMME
Approval of manufacturers
DNVGL-CP-0237 Edition July 2018
Offshore mooring chain and accessories

CLASS PROGRAMME

DNVGL-CP-0246 Edition May 2016

Thanks Ussuri for the suggestions. Most of the references are related to chain and none for clump weights. I shall keep trying and if I get any reference I shall be back
