Assuming NX3, or higher, you will be able to accomplish this using Assembly Arrangements.

paul

unfortunately this is nx2

any suggestions

You could add the assembly to the drawing, if using master model format, multiple times and just reposition it as needed.

Never used NX1 or NX2, but (just) looking at NX2, Assembly Arrangements are available.

How do you want to show it on the drawing; 1 view per position, or maybe all positions in 1 view with it shown in dashed line font at the extreme positions?

at the drawing level you could do multiple explosions and save the view of it you want then add that view to your drawing.
