A102 Carbon Steel Flange and Q235 Carbon Steel Flange

Dear All,
I want to buy Carbon steel Flange from China. In USA, we usually use A105 carbon steel flange. But Chinese supplier Fame Rise Flange Co.,ltd wants to offer us Q235 Carbon steel flange. Are they the same materials? Any body buy from this supplier? The website is www.cnflanges.com Please give me some suggestions.

Q235 seems to indicate a European equivalent, but still with the wrong designation. I'm 99,9999% confident their not equivalent (which doesnt mean you cant use them as an alternative).
Do you have more details on the specific flange material and product form?

We use EN 10222-2 P245GH (1.0352)/P250GH is a European equivalent to ASTM A105 flanges.
Furthermore it's advisable to always spec A105N flanges (regardless of flange pressure class), indicating a normalizing heat treatment, which for most instances has better properties (i.e. due to a finer grain)

We don't manufacture flanges. We buy them for our jobs.
I would recommend you review your engineering design (and it's requirements), i.e. applicable design Code, specs etc.
Are there any client requirements? What does your contract tell you? Ask yourself; if I ask for A and get offered B, do I understand the difference, and is the manufacturer able to supply me what I need?
If that doesn't help you, hire a professional consultant who can assist you or do the job for you.
