Hi, I have question for the chemical composition on the material certificate. (Material: A182-F91)
ASTM A182 standard, Table2 shows the chemical composition.
In case of F91 grade, we can see Zr 0.01 "D"
"D": Applies to both heat and product analyses.
If product analysis for the "Zr" is not indicated in material certificate, is it rejectable?

Thank you in advence.

No. The element was not reported because either it is not present or was below detectability limits.

If an element is listed in the spec then it must be reported, either as <LD or as <0.01 (or whatever the LD is).

What exactly do you have in terms of information related to the Grade 91 material? I have seen material certificates mean compliance with SA-182 with basic information. Do you have the detailed material or mill test report that provides a complete chemical analysis of the forging?
