A588 for Pipe 1

Here is my issued:
I would lie to know what is the difference, but apply for pipes, I do not what application is for what please help me to clarify.

Start there.
The spec has a scope and it will show you the different properties for these grades.

The scope of usage from ASTM is as follows: "This specification covers high-strength low-alloy structural steel shapes, plates, and bars for welded, riveted, or bolted construction but intended primarily for use in welded bridges and buildings where savings in weight or added durability are important. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of this steel in most environments is substantially better than that of carbon structural steels with or without copper addition (see Note 1). When properly exposed to the atmosphere, this steel is suitable for many applications in the bare (unpainted) condition. This specification is limited to material up to 8 in. [200 mm] inclusive in thickness."

Why would you make pipe (presumably by welding plate) out of this?

My two cents ... It seems that the OP is interested in making his own "CORTEN type" welded pipe ???!!

You can purchase "Corten pipe" on the internet, but it will be referred to as type ASTM A847. ASTM A847 is a welded, cold-formed high strength-low alloy steel.

That link shows circular pipe and diameter, but the text says square or rectangular sections!

ASTM A847/A847M-21

Abstract

This specification covers standard requirements for cold-formed welded and seamless high-strength, low-alloy round, square, rectangular, or special shaped structural tubing for welded, riveted, or bolted construction of bridges and buildings and for general structural purposes where high strength and enhanced atmospheric corrosion resistance are required.

So, not "pipe" as in a hole for liquid to flow through.

The OP is perhaps thinking that these material grades are suitable for tranporting somewhat corrosive fluids, mistakenly believing that their enhanced resistance to atmospheric corrosion is transferable.
