AB Power Flex 70 VFD Digital In parameter question

AB Power Flex 70 VFD Digital In Parameter. 361-366 Parameters are set up for Digital In's with values of 0-46. I am using value 4 "Aux Fault" to sense a motor thermal overload and fault the drive. I have an empty parameter and would like to fault the drive from another device. Does anyone know if value 4 can be used in another parameter location to also fault the drive?

Why do this? Sounds like your complicating things for no reason. Why not just pull the enable and run for the drive when you have this fault from this device?
