Regarding the process of defining a layup in Abaqus, I have a question. If I have, let's say, a geometric SHELL rectangular prism with a base of 200x100 mm and lenght 300 mm, and then define a layup of 5 plies, each with 1 mm thick, with offset=0 in all walls, how will Abaqus do this?
Will it put 2 plies inside the geometry shell, the middle ply coincident with the shell and 2 plies outside the shell?
Or will it start by putting the first ply where the shell prism is and put the others on top of it?
Or will it do it in any other way?
Thank you
