Abaqus *** Error

Hi all,

I recently have hit a brick wall with the following error : *** Error: ABQcaeK.exe / rank 0 / thread 0 encountered an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in ABQSMACgaCaeModKerGeomLow.dll (code 3221225477)

that occurs every time I attempt to submit a job or write an input file. It happened late yesterday without any abnormal action by me (I had been running simulations all day prior with no issue).

I am using Abaqus 2018.

I have attempted the following: - update graphics driver (already up to date)
-check windows updates
-completely uninstall abaqus and then re install

So far to no avail. Any help would be appreciated!

Ive tried with and without additional cpus/gpu and that seems to have no effect.

Do you have sufficient Admin rights for Abaqus to write to its working directory?

I would think so, but not sure how to check this? Also not sure how that would have changed while still having cae open (it was open all day and I ran several simulations from the same cae database in the same working directory and then all of a sudden it started doing this).
