ABAQUS error

Respected Users, I need to ask you a that I am using ABAQUS for modeing a lap joint.When I add stress-strain data I get error of ""The independent variables must be arranged in ascending order"" for which I changed modify it for repetition, ascending order and blanks even then I am getting it. The data is avaialbe here

Data for plasticity definition in Abaqus should look like this:

yield_stress_1, 0
yield_stress_2, plastic_strain_2
...

So the first point must be yield stress with zero plastic strain. Then you can add more points (with increasing stress and strain) after that.

Respected Sir, The data sheet I attched have zero plastic strain for first point even then it's not workable!

I think you put 0 stress for a nonzero plastic strain. I would guess that the first column is the strain in your data.

Here's part of your data:

Considering the values, the first column seems to be strain while the second one would be stress. So there's no zero plastic strain point in this data and you should change the order of columns (it should be stress - strain).

Of course, you also have to change commas to dots for use in Abaqus.
