I am working on Abaqus/Explicit and trying to test run the indentation problem. When I plot the reaction forces, graph shows fluctuation. Can someone help me to locate the mistake I am doing.

INITIAL VELOCITY.. in Abaqus Explicit.

Hi. I have a striker which has to strike a ring with some initial velocity. I am able to give it a constant velocity. However, I am not able to give it an initial velocity. Can some one please tell where do I have the option of applying initial velocity to the striker.

Hi Anurag, may I know what assumption you have taken for the striker model (a rigid or deformable).
