Hello everyone, I have to study how the plasticity change during the simulation in a single Node. In particular I need the maximum value for each step in the selected node. I have tried extracting PEEQ in xy data but the value in a step doesn’t correspond to the one showed in the graphic interface. Abaqus gives me 4 vectors for 4 different SPs. What is the relationship between the max value for the step and the values given by Abaqus in xy data? How can I find what I need?

You can use Tools —> Create Field Output —> From Frames to find maximum value of PEEQ in selected step. However keep in mind that PEEQ is calculated at element’s integration point and nodal values will be extrapolated from it. Make sure that you use proper results avwraging settings.
There’s also a variable PEEQMAX. This is maximum PEEQ among all section points. O think that it might be useful for you.
