Hi all,

I am attempting to mesh a coil that has a gradual transition, and within this transition has several of what I would call "out of place" lines/edges/loops that are not allowing me to mesh this all as a hex.

I've tried multiple things in the Geometry section, virtual top, partitioning, to no avail.... Is there something I am missing here? The cad was begged, borrowed, and stolen, so I don't have a solid trace back to the original CAD design, only imported as a .STP.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thank you

There are several useful tools in Geometry Edit and Virtual Topology toolbox that may help (for example you can try combining faces). If it doesn’t work, you will probably have to use CAD software to prepare the geometry.
