I am experiencing a strange error from the when I submit the job. "Error in job Job-1: in keyword *NODE, file "Job-1.inp", line 9: Invalid nodal coordinate values were specified for the following nodes: 1 2 3 ..." and so on. I am running the Abaqus 2021 version on Arch/Linux and the Job-1.inp works on other Windows installed Abaqus releases. The job was generated in Abaqus/CAE and also imports OK (import->model->Job-1.inp).

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. [penguin]

Did you check this line of the input file ? How does it look like ? Usually such errors are not meaningless and there is actually a mistake (sometimes just a very small typo) in the input file.

The input file seems OK. I have checked it on another computer. The main difference is the OS.

Hello PeteTranc,

I have had the same problem, the input file was ok and the analysis was completed succefully.

You need to check your regional options in your OS, and change the symbole decimal from , to .

For the import inp file works now !
