In my model, everything is the same in both cases—geometry, material properties, loads, and boundary conditions. The only difference is that in the first case, I did not partition the face, while in the second case, I did.
Due to the partition, the node numbers vary slightly, leading to a minor variation in spring stiffness values, but everything else remains unchanged. However, I am observing a significant difference in SF2, which varies by approximately 950 kN (as seen in the plots), while all other results remain consistent.
I am unsure why this is happening. Could you please guide me on this?
I would appreciate any help!
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
