ABAQUS "Too many attempts made for this increment"

I've been trying to troubleshoot this error for the past 48 hours and cannot for the life of me figure out how to solve it.
Basically, it's a shell plate element (h 3000 mm; w 1500 mm), made out of Ultra High Performance Concrete (Ductal) on which uniform pressure loads are applied.
Said pressure loads are applied on five horizontal "stripes" with different ramps. Boundary conditions are set such that vertical displacements (Uz) are null in four points. Among these points, one has the B.C. set to (Uz=Ux=Uy=0) to block rigid in-plane displacements, and another one has the B.C. set to (Uz=Ux=0) to block rigid in-plane rotations.

Elastic analysis is run perfectly with no issues by adding only elastic properties to the material, but as soon as I add Concrete Damaged Plasticity parameters, I run into the "Too many attempts made for this increment" however I change the Step module and increate the I_A value in Step module -> other menu -> general solution controls -> manager -> time incrementation tab.

Solution controls normally shouldn’t be changed unless other approaches fail. Verify the properties of the CDP model and check output variables (including damage parameters) before the analysis fails.
 
The only source of nonlinearity in this analysis is the CDP material model. Make sure that loads are properly specified (check especially amplitude definitions and assignments) and that CDP material properties are correct (single element test may help).
