Hello everyone!
I am working on a project that requires the use of hyperelastic material. Therefore, I intend to utilize biaxial test data to define the hyperelastic material.
However, I am uncertain about the data I should provide. The biaxial data consists of experimental tests with nominal stress/strain curves along two directions. In Abaqus CAE, there is only one column designated for nominal stress (and nominal strain) (see attached).
Should I use the "global" nominal stress (a combination of the two directions) or do I need to choose one of my two directions? And in these cases, what is the difference between providing uniaxial data?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
