Hi friends ,

I m relay engineer. I m at substation now. During testing thermal overload test , I couldnt reset the thermal degree...Waiting to be zero ( degree) takes much time .

I disabled the function but still same..I just want to test from zero.

Rated Current : 1,00
Initial thermal val : 74 %

Setting Group 1 :

Overload Factor : 1,05
Alarm thermal value : 85 %
Restart thermal value : 40 %
Negative Seq Factor : 0
Weighting factor : 50 %
Time constant normal : 320 s
Time constant start : 320 s
Time constant stop : 500 s
Env temperature mode : FLC only
Env tepmperature Set : 40 C

Thanks

Page 343 of the technical manual says:
The time to lockout release is calculated, that is, the calculation of the cooling time to a
set value. The calculated temperature can be reset to its initial value (the Initial
temperature setting) via a control parameter that is located under the clear menu. This
is useful during testing when secondary injected current has given a calculated false
temperature level.

So, first you need to change your "Initial thermal val" setting to 0 and save. Then you need to push the clear button on the relay, scroll down to the proper setting and clear it.

" JG2828 " , by the way I checked the manual ,There s calculation of trip time.

toperate= -T . In [( Qfinal-Qoperate)/(Qfinal/Qn)]

Is it possible to use that calculation for my function ( MPTTR ) ? And dont understand ( Qfinal and Qn )
IF isnt , do you know the calculation ?

Thanks
