ABB YHMT DC Drive Printer Interface 1

this question relates to the mini printer that connects to the drive control pannel (YPP 109A) on ABB YHMT dc drives and I beleive others in the Tyrak/midi Range it is actually a Able Systems Mini Printer AP24 with what i think is A interface pcb Abb part no YPF 104B the printer Part No is YT290000-A

Can anyone tell me
1 what printer protocol the printer output on the control panel card uses

2 The original Able systems Part No for the printer it's self a serial no would be most helpful too

3 The output protocol of the Abb interface Card

The reason behind all this is that the able printer print quality is quite poor . If i Can obtain any of the above info i should be able to upgrade to a better quality mini printer

Finially if someone knows how to interface a standard serial/Parrallel printer to these drives please enlighten me

We use the printer to print out the fault log and also the drive parameters sometimes
